Saved from a traumatic past and successful in her present, Josselyn Adler’s dream of home ownership are dashed when Dr Ben Parnell shows up on her doorstep claiming to be the rightful owner of the house—and Ben has a will to prove it! To Josselyn, the house represents a new start in her life. With a stable home, hopefully a much wanted family wouldn’t be far behind.
After a near career-ending allegation is made, Ben has returned home to lick his wounds. Now he must prove Josselyn’s claim to be a fake. But as he gets to know her, he can tell by her shy, often standoffish behavior, that Josselyn is a woman who has been deeply hurt in her past. Although he is attracted to the dark haired beauty that has invaded his life, he is still suspicious of her true motives and her past involvement with his father.

Change of Address
After the recent death of beloved friend Morgan Parnell, Josselyn Adler receives news that she has just inherited his home in the picturesque town of Unity. But trouble ensues almost immediately when Morgan’s son Ben turns up and announces he is the new owner of the house—and he has a will to prove it—but so does Josselyn. So who has the legitimate will?
Josselyn has had a rough life, but she has persevered to become a home care nurse. She now longs for a family to call her own. Ben has had a charmed upbringing and has gone on to become a successful hematologist. But a brutal accusation brought against him not only nearly cost him his reputation and medical license, but completely broke his spirit as well.
Both Josselyn and Ben are suspicious of each other’s motives, but as they spend time together, they realize that maybe they can let go of all their mistrust and love each other.
I loved Change of Address. The emotional impact of this story is right in your face. There’s no sugar coating of the character’s pasts or foibles, and this makes them real and relatable. If you’ve read Natalie-Nicole Bates’ Back To You, you’ll recognize the splendid little town of Unity, as well as a few recurring characters. I also loved the ending and the truth behind the wills. The angle with the wills is something I’ve never seen before. Change of Address is a definite keeper and an easy 5 stars.
